Right, Wednesday is tomorrow.  I should have a couple of York-based peeps along.  How about meeting at the Tap in the station, doing a loop via Naburn and finishing at the Knavesmire, which is an easy mile from the station for the train home.

Who's out to play?

I should be good for the Tap, but not cycling.

What time are you aiming to be there? I have a couple of meetings tomorrow and will have to see if I can fit this in around them.

1830 is our norm isn't it?  I'm a jobless loser though so I can fit in around you!

My train's due in just after five.

Suppose I could go and do some laps of Rowntree or something.

Depending on how things go I will be there either on time or just before 7.

Logistics are a bit difficult for us - and I'm still not very portable so we'll have to have the three hour "What I done on my holidays" slideshow another time ;).

He's definitely back. I went and checked.

We accidentally won the pub quiz at Naburn, but decided to give the prize away to the runners-up as it wasn't food (the kitchen having closed).

I'm suddenly free tomorrow.  Ride anyone?

Sorry I didn't advertise it, but we had a good run tonight, including an out-and-back up Rag Robin, though tiermat didn't play*

Next week - I suggested Hutton Rudby for parmo madness. Meet in Northallerton for 6-ish, route to be decided, Hopefully we can convince tiermat that the route via Osmotherley is a good idea.

Anyone who fancies a ride** can meet us in Northallerton, and anyone else*** can meet at the pub. I reckon we'll be there for 7.30-ish, all being well. Optional hill repeats up Carlton Bank, which I will not be doing.

*Which is the only way to win.

I think we're pretty unlikely. Fboab's first week in a new job, the forecast looks shite, and I'm pretty busy with work.

Bit early to go looking at the weather forecast, Chris!

We're still on, meet at tiermat's for 6 ish.

Missed the vital "next week" clause. Weather still looks shite ;).

We have a full week of family-related entertainment, so won't be able to come out to play.

All welcome ;)

While you're there, Chris - it is the Wheatsheaf in Rudby, isn't it?

That was really scary. The look of apathy on the faces of the guys working on the bridge, I mean.

Great night, fantastic route, despite my whinging!

Weather looks a bit shite this Wednesday (not just Chris-shite, genuinely grim). Anyone fancy a ride?

No worries, Phil. Next week, as I'll be away for a month after that.

This Wednesday will be a Darlo pub run - possibly the Crown at Manfield, TBC.

Come along if you want to hear the Real Story of what happened on the last one ;D

It will be the Crown at Manfield, aiming for 7-7.30 or thereabouts.

Pokes head in ...

erm is it ok for a southerner (from the south of North Yorkshire, mind) to come an play?

Talked to Tiermat, if it all fits I could join the fun with him. It all depends on work load and somewhat weather. But if there is one on next week, I think that would suit me.

Though I haven't been on a bike for a while so speed and distance might not be to your normal standard.
