Well was looking at swimming googles and these were recommended to me.

Pay some extra money and stick to the big brands - Speedo or Zoggs

They are cheap, that's probably about all that's good about them.  To be honest you are better off spending a bit more than £1.84 on a pair of goggles.  They are the ones you can buy for £1 in the machines at pools.  Speedo are a good make IMO.

It took me ages to find the right pair that didn't do this. its mostly trial and error unfortunately.

Try a different eyepiece shape - there are many to choose from.  Also, ensure that you spit into the lenses before you use them and rinse it out - same as divers do.  Make sure that you have the goggles strap in the correct position about 30-40 deg from the goggles to just below the crown of your head.

Decent goggles will cost about £10-£15.  Try Swimstop, but you'd be better going to a good sports shop and trying several pairs on to see what suits you. I wear these, but I'm an ex-swimmer and I find these really comfy - they just suit my eye socket well.

HTH.

Aye, goggles are a personal face shape fit thing.  For me it's the hard-socket Speedo Swedish, a perfect seal but many folks hate 'em.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.
