Anyone up for this?

I'm entered again after a very enjoyable ride last year (although sadly need to change my club name  :()

I loved it last year and am aiming for a sub four hour time this go round (which means shaving off just over 19 minutes from my previous time)

My usual warp speed would result in an 8hr ride, so no, not me, not on this date!

I do have the route as published in C+ last month as a 'one to do' at some point though.  There is hardly a need for road closures as long as you keep a look out for muckle great wagons roaring around unexpected bends...

we'd talked about it, but it's too far from cambridge.

last year you had to register the day before, which was a pita if you live say 90 mins drive away.

Is it the same this year?

I think it is the same this year - once you're up here we wont let you go until you've spent your money and experienced our porridge...

[edit - 90 mins drive means you probably have your own porridge anyways?]
