I'm going to be coming by train and aiming for 8:15-8:30 at the Woolpack, unless I can get away earlier, in which I'll be aiming for 7:30-8:00 ish at the Woolpack.

What are other folks doing?

Just trying to consider how we ensure a correct mix of drinking and food :)

20:00 or so would be a good one, so perhaps an hour or so of booze followed by a quick wobble over the road to Baddow Road, is 21:30 - 22:00 too late for food?

I'm happy to leave Witham at 7pm. Not sure how that works for others.

Where to this Wednesday?  Perhaps we pick a venue depending on who is coming out to play.

I'm on for this Wednesday

Three Elms, Chignall St James? Just 'cos the log fire there appeals to me this misty morning...and they might do mulled wine - having got addicted at the Dunmow Live Nativity yesterday.

3 Elms - sounds like it could be a good first single speed outing! (plus it's almost WAG friendly too!)

Assuming we do go to The Three Elms my encyclopedia of routes offers the Witham Peloton THIS GEM which apparently we enjoyed on the 13th May last year.

As I seem to not be able to get out of the office at a decent time recently I think I might take my bike in on Wednesday then get off at Ingatestone or Chelmsford on the way home and ride to meet you all there....

Hi All

I've found my way onto the forum, been approved and finally worked out what buttons to press (don't tell anyone I work in IT :-[).

I/We may join you on Wednesday, possible at the pub or if the Witham peleton are coming up North Hill I'll join you further down the Ridge as I live where Little Baddow becomes Danbury.

Cheers

Jan

Welcome Jan!  We will definitely be coming up TMNH now as it would be great to meet you. If the Witham peloton sets off at 7:30 we should be on the hill between 8 and 8:30pm.

Gosh!  Shame we haven't got a fatted calf  ;D  We will have to make do with pickled eggs.

A question for the committee to consider ...

Do we need festive tunz?

I might be out subject to how well I behave at today's lunch and subject to my test ride of Guilliamo.
