Good news: it's Friday and I can have a rest tomorrow.
Bad news: my Pomp is being sent back on Monday and my LHT is still behaving badly. So I don't really have a bike to ride at the moment. :(

I did an audax!

But the conjunctivitis and the earache are back and even though I've had an absolutely lovely day I actually feel a bit grim :(

Look on the bright side - at least you didn't get soaked to the skin or sunburnt  ;) The weather was just about ideal and there wasn't much wrong with the bacon butties at Boroughbridge or the scones at Ripley.

Actually.... I did manage to get sunburnt!  But not too badly, and it's fading already.

Good news - I don't have tennis elbow, or badminton elbow

Bad news - it's golfer's elbow. And I've never played golf in my life.

Bad News:  Wednesday.  Headache.  Feel a bit sick.
Good News:  I got through a lot more of the day than I have done of late before it hit.  And hopefully it'll improve.  And that's Wednesday done for another week.

Bad news last Friday.  My colleague is a victim of the latest "rationalisation".  She's lost her job.
Even worse news.  I'm still there.

I s'pose she was cheaper to get rid of.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Good: we've just overtaken the freight train that was holding up up. Bad: we are still going to miss our connection.

Hurrah!  My leg is not so hurty today.
Bah! This is due to self-medication with 3/4 of a bottle of Bells, so my head is hurty instead.

Bad news:  even though it's the school holidays (and Dearly_Beloved has the day booked off too) my children decided to wake us up before 6:30 this morning by the little one having a huge toddler tantrum at the foot of the stairs because his big brother didn't let him 'win' and get downstairs first.

Good news: Littly was up for a proper strop, instead of a sniveling whinge-fest, because he's feeling a bit better.  First time that his temperature (without the use of brufen/paracetemol) has been under 38 for 5 days!

Good news, we're not having our hours cut.
Bad news, we're managing this by not replacing the two days Steve has decided to drop, so there are only three of us on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Jonny hasn't got the job he thought he had.

As a result, the boss asked me to today to try and tell him as early as possible if I think I'm going to be off sick.  Not sure how that works....

(Actually, as he freely admitted, of the three of us, he's one most likely to be off sick, and me the least...)

Good news: Played 40 minutes of 5-a-side football tonight

Bad news: Played 35 minutes of it in goal as I've done my hip in (it felt like it popped out of the joint1). Wasn't too painful going in goal, we'll see how I feel tomorrow to see if I can play again on Thursday (must take Vitamin I before going to bed). Cycling home was ok but the Severn Across 400 is less than 3 weeks away...

HTFU spray to be applied.
