Polar CS400

My Sigma ground to a halt last week.  So I have invested in a Polar CS400.
I remembered this THREAD and how several said they were impressed by the Polar they had.  I bought the one I couldn't afford, but it was better than the next one up that I still couldn't afford  ;D

I've been using it since Thursday but only installed the cadence on Thursday night.

I need something to think about on my commute.  I find it is all too easy to get 'lost' in thinking about nothing and then I'll find myself just bumbling along.  In that respect alone, the cadence is ace.  I can concentrate on keeping it above 80 at all times.  I seem to enjoy 90 at present, but we will see.

I plan to figure out how to train with it so I can extend my commute into a proper training session, just to liven it up a bit.

Why not a 705?  I already have a GPS that works fine.  It is not limited to a 15 hr internal battery either.
