Spy balloon, UFO or Dragon Ball? Japan baffled by iron ball washed up on beach

I reckon it's one of Godzilla's bollocks, and he's gonna be FUMMIN when he realises it’s missing.

Aren't they internal on reptiles?  I mean, think of rubbing your externals along the ground every time you go for a walk.

Yebbut isn’t Godzilla some kind of mutant?

Something went adrift with his spike proteins :o ?

Mind you, IIRC he did have big brawny US-football-player's shoulders. Lizards don't got shoulders.  Maybe he's got the rest of the tackle too.

When French money ceased to be legal tender in Jersey, from 1834, they adopted a currency with 13 pence to the shilling.

Only in Florida. For now. DeSantis might become president.

The 5.17m (17ft) statue depicts an entirely naked David, the Biblical figure who kills the giant Goliath.

The lesson, given to 11 and 12-year-olds, also included references to Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" painting and Botticelli's "Birth of Venus".

Principal Hope Carrasaquilla of Tallahassee Classical School said she resigned after she was given an ultimatum by the school board to resign or be fired.
Sue the school for false representation in its name, if they're going to refuse to use classics.

However do they make babies in Florida?  Perhaps Rome/Florence should be taken off the US touring agenda.

It’s unclear if it’s a mixed changing area (I assumed not) and appears to be a result of complaints from younger members.  I think Aus is as prudish as the US these days.

1) Aus was always prudish. The sight of a nipple in public is considered justification for calling a swat team.

2) Old Aussie beach changing rooms always used to be just one big room with a row of shower heads along a wall. (one room for men, one for women). I think this is one of the old ones, and people started object to seeing wrinkly wobbly bits.

If their dicks are in proportion to the diminutive example on Michaelangelo's David statue I can understand why they want to hide them.

It was the women’s changing room where the problem seems to have occurred.

Disney outfoxes DeSantis, invokes King Charles' descendents ...

https://www.npr.org/2023/03/30/1167042594/disney-desantis-board-reedy-creek-charles

For a long time, Disney had an arrangement with Florida where they were basically self-governing in their central Florida fiefdom.  After they wanted to say "gay" when Desantis had passed "don't say gay", DeSantis upped the ante by appointing a new, righter-than-right-wing governance board.  But, before the new board took office, the old one, in publicly announced meetings, agreed to the Mouse's terms and cut their successors authority drastically.

There is an Orange alert for the whole of the Netherlands today.

Widespread outbreaks of Orange are expected across the whole country.

You are warned.

Ha, and I wasn't even serious! Might be a good day to go for a ride out in the country, assuming you've also got a day off.

It's a day off. But to get into the countryside means going through the edge of the city.

Also even the tiny villages and towns have something going on.

No. I'm hiding at home. A friend has come to visit (they live in the city centre), and we're just having a lazy day at home avoiding people.

I actually have a 5 day weekend. Cos it's my normal 4 day weekend (I work 4 days a week and get a 4 day weekend every two weeks. I'll ride tomorrow. But have to be careful as there'll be a lot of broken glass about.

We (me, my mum & my daughters) dodged an intimidating boisterous Amsterdam party and went to Delft for the day.
Ferry home afterwards.
