Line 7 on the licence looks like it says "Good evening from Ukraine".

Florida again. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/may/24/amanda-gorman-poem-ban-florida-school
If Florida were a person, it would be sitting in the US equivalent of Wetherspoons wearing a t-shirt over its beer gut bearing the legend "That's what I do. I say shit and I ban things."

I'm beginning to warm towards Trump.  Nah, not really but DeSantis is a mad slobbering ultra-right wily bastard religious-maniac baboon.  At least Trump is merely a rogue.

Indian chap drains a reservoir to get his phone back.  Phone, predictably, is ruined anyway.  As heroic failures go, this is one of the best.

It's such an impressive shipment of fail, you can almost overlook the abuse of authority and waste of water involved in the affair. :D

Mains water is a scarcity in India – it's not pumped through the taps 24/7 like in the West, even in the middle class areas where everyone has a connection – so this is especially selfish and stupid.

South Koreans grow 1-2 years younger overnight.

Quote
As South Korea campaigns to retire an old and odd age-counting method that makes people a year or two older than they really are, children are among the few who seem most eager to stick with the past.

“I turned 6 and then became 5 again,” Kim Da-in said when a TV reporter asked her about a new law that went into effect Wednesday that formalizes the international age-counting method in administrative and civil laws and encourages people to tally their own ages accordingly.

South Korea’s traditional age-counting custom considers every person 1 year old at birth and adds another year when the calendar hits Jan. 1, meaning a child born on Dec. 31 turns 2 the next day.
