It's absolutely lovely out there
« on: 31 March, 2008, 12:36:03 pm »
I've just been to the park with the dog.

It was sunny.

It was warm.

There was a gentle breeze.

What a contrast to the rest of this month!

I'm off for a pootle after lunch. I think I'll take the SLR to see if the kingfisher is there.

I just cycled into work wearing the usual longs, baselayer and waterproof and I was absolutely roasting. It's like a proper summers day.

And I'm at work. Gits.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Not so nice a bit further West. Loads of cloud cover. No wind this morning made a big difference though and 17degrees C forecast for Friday!

Very nice here in Bath.  Might be a good day for a diversion on the ride home... :)

It's only 12°C but it feels lots warmer. It just shows how lousy it's been recently.

Decidedly springlike here too.

Had a very pleasant 20 mile round trip to the farm shop this morning. Just in jeans and a t-shirt.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

Beautiful outside and I'm at work in a basement.  Bah.

You have my sympathy Liz, I would swap a ride in the sun for my full set of (starvation) blood samples first thing and a visit to the diabetes clinic at end of day.

Then back to work until about 2330 as it's financial and sales year end.

At least we had a decent buffet lunch with champers, courtesy of a retiring marketing director.

Sun trying it's hardest to shine here and the wind down low so it's out on the bike tonight for me (watch it go and rain and blow a gale now!!!)

It is still in the mid teens temperature wise here at... 22:50. It was lovely and sunny all day. A bit too warm in fact.  8)

Lovely bike ride last night, the sun was shining, wind was minimal but what there was definate had a late spring nip in it.

Woke up this morning to grey sky as drizzle, but that has gone now and the sun is shining AGAIN!!!!

Another 16:30 finish for me I thinks... :)

It's horrible here again. The wind is howling (the forecast says 60mph gusts), it's raining, the forecast is thunder and I feel like I'm getting a lurgy. And I need to go collect the bike from the shop.

We need input from TKP & his DLWG.

It is nice here..sunny & warm if a little windy. So good in fact that I may seak off to the patio & get the rollers running.I'm too lazy & lacking incentive to go for a proper ride :(
