As is usual at this time of year, my mind is wandering towards where to tour next year.
Catalonia may well be out, due to costs and wanting to take a break from the same routes (although I have to admit to loving Catalonia, it's people, food and drink).
Looking around the web I have found this(
http://en.tourdemanche.com/), which sounds pretty much spot on as I can head down to Southampton, stay with the in laws the night before then head off to the start. I am thinking of doing it in a anti-clockwise direction, so Poole > Plymouth, ferry over La Manche then ride across that bit of France and back to Poole from Cherbourg (or sooner as time and ability allow).
