I'm assuming there will be a period of 'grace' before the speed camera vans are deployed.   :(
No more than about thirty years, I imagine (to be extended if required)

GN: I knew I had 75 Euros in my old wallet at home. However, when I went to count them, I found they had multiplied to 130.

BN: I have no trip scheduled on which to spend them.

BN Got distracted and cook my steak somewhat more than intended.

GN The distraction was adding a couple spoonfulls of red pesto to the veg (brocolli, brussel sprouts and asparagus) I was stir frying alongside. Verdict delicious

GN The steak was still yummy indeed.

GN: I've been asked to provide 2 photographs for an exhibition in Dublin (at the National Photographic Archive gallery)

BN: One of them has to be of the "real life" me, by which I assume some sort of portrait is required.

But I might send this one

Bad news: the airline managed to loose my O/H's hand luggage.
Good news: they found it and got it back to him within 24 hours.

(This isn't quite as bizarre as it seems - they'd asked for people with large items of hand luggage to offer to check it in, and the bag somehow didn't go on the plane with him. Fortunately he'd taken most of the really valuable stuff in his pockets - it was just his house keys that were an issue.)

GN: I'm off on a short tour to ABROAD on Friday
BN: I pumped up the tyres of my steed of choice this morning, shortly followed by a BANG as thee back tyre exploded caused by the rim peeling off.
GN: DCR Wheels may well have a replacement
More GN: My chum Dave, who groks wheel voodoo, is available to help

I could really do with this holiday.

GN: Got a replacement rim and, with much help from my friend Dave, turned it in to a wheel.
BN: Got home and tried to fit tyre and tube. Bloody valve hole hasn't been properly drilled out, so the valve won't go through.

I really really need this holiday.

GN: Just parcelled up our professional Internet kit to go back to Orange, therewith despatching the last of the bothersome oughts that have been darkening my days. After a good 6 months of sending in declarations, requests, plaints and panic phone-calls, full & adequate pensions are rolling in and I am now free to ride my bike and build guitars.

BN: Can't quite believe it. There has to be something waiting to clobber me on the back of the neck...
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

Most excellent news; started new chemotherapy regime yesterday, and had no allergic reaction to the new "cocktail". Pass the ice please waiter!

Even better news; I am awake today - the previous cocktails knocked me out of action for at least a day and a half. Hello World!

Absolutely! Can't waste such an opportunity. I seem to recall doing quite a lot of that last time we were there!
