My 79 year old mother's computer, Windows 8.1, has somehow managed to change the log in password and she now cannot get into it.
She's nearly two hours drive away, so popping down to sort it out is a problem.
I got a text from Microsoft on Saturday saying there had been an attempt to use her Hotmail account, so we changed the password on that.
Last night she phoned to say she couldn't get into her emails. This morning I phone her back and find it's not the emails which are the problem, it's the user login. She doesn't have a password recovery disk as far as I am aware (and wouldn't be able to find it anyway).
Does the panel have any suggestions?
