i said "drivers to be more aware of vulnerable road users"

oh, and

"Assumption that the more powerful vehicle is at fault until evidence shows otherwise"
yep, note more powerful, not fastest - so if a lotus elise crashes into a bus, it's the bus's fault. as it should be.

Disappointing.  I've taken the IAM test, which is generally focused on preventing collisions, and I like to think it has made me both a better driver and a better cyclist. Bit this poll seems to focus on perceived wrongdoings by cycle riders rather than any desire to understand the roots of driver/cyclist conflict/
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Agreed. The survey looks like something a work experience student has dreamed up.

The IAM have previously produced many spot-on sensible documents about cycling and motorists.

In the previous poll (older drivers), 85% of respondents were IAM members, in the current (cycling) poll, 85% are NOT IAM members.

I wonder why the difference?

I said that I was a member of the IAM, so as not to skew the results too much.

I may have let my membership lapse recently, however ;)

I said I was a member in one (not set the forms off though  ;)) an associate in another and a non-member in a third.

If they cannot have some kind of system whereby members are identified as such, it isn't surprising that some people hit the wrong button by mistake!
It is simpler than it looks.
