5% less chance of cancer, but 34% less likely to die of it - am I reading that right? (maybe we have a tendency to be killed by car drivers before the prostate gets us :) ).

I think it means that you have a 5% less chance of getting cancer, and if you do get it, you have a 34% less chance of dying of it. Perhaps it's the oats in all the flapjacks.
