The tracker doesnt look right. Its looks like it is showing Steve riding home, when that is where he was overnight according to Strava.

I think you are right. It has been doing some very confusing things of late.

It looked the same yesterday.  I thought he'd been out for a very early loop with the tracker rolling to the new day while he was heading inbound but there's no sign of that on Strava.  Confusing indeed.

There must be something wrong with the tracker - it's showing him as having done 94 miles in 4 and a half hours - I don't think Steve has any intentions of riding at TT pace!

Ivan's SCIENCE has him apparently starting in Papworth Everard, which sounds like a character in a "Carry On" film, and currently bashing into Norfolk at an average speed of V>27 km/h ???

Something is wrong on the internet.

Wonder if he was really cycling up and down the B1066 near Bury St Edmunds?! Methinks the tracker may be getting it's times confused for some reason.... very odd.

That's quite a lot!
It is simpler than it looks.

It's rather good! Wonder if he's still only clipped in on the left side?

This is really the kind of effort that one wishes was contributing to the new, concurrent attempt.

If Steve really is going to be going for a concurrent attempt, then in the interests of financing the whole shebang it really ought to be starting sooner rather than later.  I'm sure that he and his team are thinking hard about what rest and preparation Steve's body needs to have in order to begin again as fresh as possible.  If rest is what he needs, that's going to come at the cost of progress on the 2015 attempt and the 100,000 mile attempt.  It'll be a good thing to get fully recovered from the ankle injury; though he seems able to knock out big mileage days already, he doesn't have the required consistency yet and his routine is still disrupted by hospital appointments.

When I rode the Mersey 24hr nine years ago, I told myself that there was no point doing any of my warmup at a faster pace than I'd be riding at the end of the race.

Having spoken to Steve at some length on this subject last weekend, I can confirm that there is indeed a plan. I am not however at liberty to divulge as I am not part of the "official" PR machine and it was a private conversation. What goes on tour, stays on tour etc...

it would be nice to know what the "official PR machine" is going to tell us, and preferably sooner rather than later. I believe the donations to the OYTT are for 1.1.15 to 31.12.15, if they are going to need to be extended or deferred we'd like to know
