https://www.facebook.com/groups/261130014538117/Many event organiser's have an excellent knowledge of event management and dealing with problems, yet we undertake our roles in isolation and only speak to a limited number of counterparts. In effect, there is no avenue for peer support away from the public gaze within less salubrious forums.
This forum is aimed at constructive dialogue under Chatham House rules and restricted to valid and current organisers listed on the AUK calendar and planner. It is not intended as a moan-fest.
Purpose:
- To share best ideas on best practice
- Advice and support to other organisers
- To discuss issues of concern facing the organisation and delivery of audax events
Please remember that whilst Chatham House rules apply, this group is not secret so please use discretion when raising discussions. Remain positive and constructive as moan-fests rarely produce positive results. Any grievances with AUK should be taken through appropriate channels. The group is not an official or AUK administered group.
Membership will periodically be reviewed against the list of current organisers.
