Of course, the Portsmouth Evening News makes a fuss out of anything but they've made the Southsea cycle lane their front page fuss today:

Not having had cause to visit the fleshpots of Pompey recently, I'm curious - is the facility any good? Worth the paint?

I cant tell from the picture but does that cycle lane run in the door zone?

Where it is not completed, getting onto it from the opposite side of the road is a bot of a challenge but once you are on it (and despite my misgivings), it is very enjoyable and actually OK.

I think they should complete it.
