Plumbing bits help

Afternoon all !!

To overcome a professionally installed plumbing bodge I need an adapter that will fit onto the shower cartridge 7.5mm knurled spindle and engage with the shower control knob's female knurled socket (approx 10mm internal).

After 15 minutes googling I can't even find what it's called.

Can anyone please help get me on the right track ?

Many thanks
