The event went very well.

Three temporary members packed due to heat exhaustion.

Congratulations to Jethro, who submitted the best kept and neatest written Brevet Card. 50% off next year  ;D ;)

I DNSed so as not to pack with some combination of sunburn / hayfever / heat exhaustion.   :(

Looking at the route, it incorporates some of my favourite bits of the local lanes.

A great little audax with a well selected route, many thanks to all those that organised it and made it happen.

It was my first audax had a enjoyable ride , spent most of the ride with a nice chap called Martin relied on his gps because i had cocked mine up , he also waited for me when I had started to hit the wall as i ran out of water about 20 kms from the end .

DNS mostly due to other committemnts (and looked very warm).  looked like I missed a good ride.  I have to say the info proviided (route sheet / GPS etc. look like a lot of work had gone into it).  One for next year perhaps.
