Head to Head Tandem

A friend sent me this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5unMlXg6WL4 and it reminded me of a tandem that I think was featured in the Comic back in the 80s or maybe 90s which had the stoker at the front facing backwards with the Captain at the back facing forwards.

Their theory was the stokers bum made for a nice aerodynamic shape. Only challenge was for the Captain to see where he was going plus the efficacy of the steering by wire system rigged up to the front wheel!

Anyone got a photo of said tandem or know if it is still being ridden in TTs?
