Damn. I was pretty certain it was either that or Highlander and I plumped for the wrong one... So is it Highlander?

Here are a few quotes from an old favourite of mine that came up in conversation the other day:

-I'd like to apologize to you gentlemen for referring to you all as homosexuals. You taught me a valuable lesson in life.

-My dog barks some. Mentally you picture my dog, but I have not told you the type of dog which I have. Perhaps you even picture Toto from The Wizard of Oz. But I warn you, my dog is always with me. Woof!

-Did I ever tell ya that this here jacket represents a symbol of my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom?
-About fifty thousand times.

The last one is a bit of a giveaway.

A clutch from a single scene in a film I revisited last night-

Happy Haloween sisters!

Nuns- no sense of humour

(probably the clincher from the scene)

I have something to say- It's better to burn out than to fade away!

Highlander.

But you forgot:

"Forgive me." Licks priest's hand "I... am a worm..."

Didn't Kurt Kobain say it?

Anyways, I have <drunk scottish accent>"Make it vivid"</drunk scottish accent> stuck in my head but no idea where from.

I believe the context is this:

Wash "Well, this should be interesting."

Mal "Define interesting"

Wash "God oh god we are all going to die."

Was also in an early episode of 'Crime Story' by the same director - Dennis Ferrina delivered the line but as it was TV, I think it was less sweary (which is a pity as no-one swears as well as Dennis Ferrina)

Mrs. Ormerod (Enid) In thick Black Country accent: "I've visited my daughter in Brighton. I know about the world, thank you! I was the first person in this village to ingest a scallop. If that's what progress tastes like,
yo can keep it!"
