Spilt coffee all over my apple keyboard the other day, and they are replacing it free.
Was cleaning desk, lifted the coffee up to wipe under it, and in the process knocked the bottom of it and it went straight down. The keyboard took most of it.
It still works, but the keys are sticky, which makes it annoying to use.
Haven't got apple care on it (not sure you can get it on keyboards) but have got it on my mac mini.
Went on chat, and despite the fact I bought the keyboard separately from the mac they have invoked the warranty on the mac mini to give me a new keyboard.
They charge you for it but then refund it once you send the old one back.
Quite good I thought...
