Having spent over an hour waiting for this ferry to find out it wasn't running (no signs or anything useful like that) I refuse to accept this ferry exists!

I've discovered that I have lots of photos of ferries, but very few that have my bike in them.

Nevertheless, I offer this masterpiece:

Er... crossing a big river somewhere... possibly in Germany.
Steph will be along shortly to tell me where I was.

IoW Ferry (Urban_Biker's, Chillmoister's and mine)

Cowes Chainlink, me and Urban_biker waiting (admiring BMX skills)

Mudeford Ferry (bikes stashed at the front)

Actually we managed 5 different ferry-crossings that day and I highly recommend it.
Ferries:
Studland to Sandbanks (Bournemouth) ride along prom to:
Hengistbury to Christchurch, ride to:
Lymington to Yarmouth (IoW) ride across IoW via:
Cowes chainling (IoW)
Ryde (IoW) to Portsmouth

Another ride involving the Cowes chainlink

I've been on the IoW ferry so many times but not taken photos of my bike

Great idea!  I looked through my pics, thinking of the ferry journeys I've done:

1) Woolwich ferry - lots, including numerous 'Thames Path Meanders'.  I have no pics.
2) Portsmouth - Le Havre - Portsmouth.  Pics taken on the ferry, no bikes in evidence.
2) Quillebeuf-sur-Seine.  Pic of approaching ferry, none with bikes.
3) Portmouth - Hayling Island.  No pics.
4) Somewhere in Norfolk on the Asparagus & Strawberries 400.  No pics.

 :(

Reedham.

I hope you made the compulsory "Chain's a bit slack" comment on that ferry.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.
