An appropriate board for this topic

I wasn't going to drink anything tonight.

The large empty wine bottle in front of me has no label other than a handwritten sticker.   "Blackberry 2006".

That was a good year.

Perhaps that was when you drank it?

I have Glenfiddich at the moment.

My bottle of Glenfiddich will be opened in a minute.

I just need to decide whether to start preparing the bedroom for painting now, or afterwards...

After you've opened it or drunk it?
This isn't just a thousand to one shot. This is a professional blood sport. It can happen to you. And it can happen again.

Oooo, just found the Grants.

Not just any Grants, but the bottle from Spain.  1000 Proof strength, 50% Vol stuff.

Maybe a little snifter while I think about that bedroom...
