That's sad, but a good reason to discoise for a minute or two.
Riding a concrete path through the nebulous and chaotic future.

Lost to cancer at the disappointingly early age of 63.

OK, so I'm not the world's biggest fan of disco music, and she said some pretty repulsive things about AIDS a few years back, but she was undeniably a great talent.

Given (a) the way I'm climbing this year and (3) the last 24 hours, such distractions could be Just the Ticket ;)

I love the David Bowie quotation on Wikipedia

Quote
One day in Berlin ...  Eno came running in and said, 'I have heard the sound of the future.' ... he puts on 'I Feel Love', by Donna Summer ... He said, 'This is it, look no further. This single is going to change the sound of club music for the next fifteen years.

I know that Moroder masterminded the song, but it wouldn't have been the same without That Voice.  Still sounds amazing today.
It was a day like any other in Ireland, only it wasn't raining

Hmmm, I don't know. She had a decent, soulful gospel voice but was there really anything uniquely special about it? Giorgio Moroder gets all the credit for I Feel Love in my book.

It'll be like being with me on the tandem. Lots of moaning from the rear.
