I know, I have seen it twice now, once was more than enough for a young lady ;)

My good news.  I slept for 3 hours today, my tummy is much better although not brilliant.  The car is packed full of stuff for the weekend.  JC finally got out of bed after sleeping all morning.  Time to put my jim jams on and watch movies again.

Happiness is having the time and boredom to completely dismantle a broked MiniDisc player, clean it and reassemble it for it to work. I now have a several hundred MDs to listen to from me yoof :)

I was phoned by my contact in one of my schools today. She wants me to work 14 Thursday lunchtimes next term instead of the normal 10.

My reprobate son has just won £72 in a poker competition. Entry fee £2. He was 4th out of 450ish entrants.

Last time I was down there I had a look at my father-in-law's computer as it was running "slow".

Windows XP running on a 1GHz Duron with 128MB(!) of memory. Slow McSlow of Slowtown.

I dug out an "old" Asus Terminator K7-DDR barebones that had been lurking around in the cupboard, only 256MB of RAM as it was used as a number crunching box. 2GHz Athlon though.

2GB of PC2100 DDR ram ordered (getting tricky to find a good deal on it where you aren't screwed on postage). Due to go down there mid-September to do the HDD transplant and fight with the drivers/etc (and Windows Genuine Advantage no doubt).

I think he may be pleasantly surprised at the speed increase from 1GHz to 2GHz and 128MB RAM to 2GB.

In 27 minutes, I will be on holiday. Tomorrow I will be waxed and polished and threaded, and meet a friend for lunch, and then at 7pm I will be on a train to Newcastle, where I will remain overnight before flying off to Greece on Friday morning. Two weeks in the sun. I will be all freckly when I get back.

Oh quintuple feck! I've just found out when the London Freewheel is and it clashes with a family commitment. How remarkably annoying!

As I have only flown 4 times in my entire life and two of those were for conservation projects I think I am in carbon deficit compared to others.

Also, as I had a stroke at the beginning of the year, this is has been my target for getting better for, I am not going to deny myself the opportunity.

I'm not the only forumer to fly to north america.
