Train tickets

The cycle reservation has disappeared from thetrainline.com's pages, to be replaced by a hunt for a FAQ that tells me to bugger off and buy a Brompton.
Bugger off I assuredly shall do, but I still need to travel. Is there an alternative booking site that will send me bike reservations, or do I have to talk to the very nice man?
Cyclops:
I've booked bikes online with NXEC before. You can buy train tickets for all rail companies not just NXEC

You can't always get teh bike reservations through them though.
I end up sometimes havingto confirm them at the station.

NXEC cheerfully reserve seats, then tell me I can't reserve bike space because that's reserved at the same time as the seats it auto-reserved. Monstrous fail.
These train sites all reduce me to a sort of veiny-necked spluttering rage at their deliberate unhelpfulness. The only way they could be more annoying would be to sell my details on to a Russian willy-pill spammer.

I'm going to talk to the nice man.

My experience (with FGW) has been to buy the tickets then phone up and get the bike pass.
Great customer satisfaction and wonderful experience.
