I am most upset that Salem doesn't speak in this version.

He doesn't?  Bah!  What's the point in that?

It's probably for the best.

Given the darker, Satanic tone of this reboot, Salem would most likely be voiced by, at best, James Earl Jones or at worst, made to sound like a Scandinavian death metal vocalist.  :demon:

I wondered if it was that one. I enjoyed it, though as I’ve not seen any other version of the stories i don’t have a benchmark of darkness for it. I was bored last week and started watching Teen Wolf expecting an American Pie type of thing. It turned out it’s quite a bit darker than that.
For every complex problem in the world, there is a simple and easily understood solution that’s wrong.

Wondering why the new garage doors which I measured countless times don't fit.

Digesting lunch and motivating myself to go out and fix new clips for the external gas pipe, then plant some potatoes. Plus try yet again to get my recalcitrant rear tubeless wheel to properly seal.  ::-)

Check your measuring kit. When I moved here, we bought a spirit level whose 'yardstick' markings GROSSLY differed from those on our tape measures.

Otherwise, there's an issue with the maker/supplier...  ;)

Or the garage might have shrunk.  That seems to be a thing they do.

Sitting drinking brew dog IPA having ridden 115km this morning and then made pickled blueberries, pickled  pineapple and a batch of sauerkraut. The kimchi and hola Curtido can wait until tomorrow.

Not far wrong..... it seems the frame is not square and the new garage door (plus every piece of wood I brought yesterday) is warped.

Some swearing was required but the new doors are now fitted! A 10 minute job took 14 hours!

Looking at the box of audio and other wires & cables I've disentangled after David presented them to me for attention.
Cat walked in just after I'd rescued two mice.
Ball dropped out of one mouse after it hit the counter.
I don't suppose we'll reuse this ancient device...

One release to get out by 5pm.

No, wait, they also want to prototype built and checked by the end of the day. Why can't I just build it, they ask? Because it has never been done before, ffs.

Now my bosses boss wants 2 page powerpoint on how I'm going to deliver product x, sent to him within an hour, with estimates.

A perfectly reasonable thing to do.

I have finally given up on my old KB - it had started inserting spaces all on its own - and after a frantic search I have replaced it with the one I used to use with my laptop. Don't like it much - it's too flat, the plastic has a greasy feel and the layout is squashed together so I keep hitting the wrong arrow keys. :(

The funny thing is that every time I hit a space now habit has my thumb flicking at the side of the space bar to pop it back up again.

Practicing my Spanish - omg I so bad at not only pronouncing the words, but I also get them in the wrong order.

Becoming increasingly bored at work. Stress free is one thing, bugger all to do quite another.

I tried a Rosetta Stone Spanish package ~10 years ago, but my computer of the day cut off the first sound that came over the mike - perro came over as erro - so it kept giving me zilch for pronunciation. I jacked it in.

Sitting in the sunshine on the lawn, enjoying the peace (thankfully no jet washing of patios, nor strumming or mowing of lawns) and birdsong. Lovely.  Only blot is with an easterly breeze we get the noise from the bypass, but it’s still pleasant to be outside and in cut-offs and a tee shirt.

Being pleased that my curtains seem to have survived being washed. (One of them had been used as a cat marking point)
