Can't belive John has quit - what a big girl's blouse.
He should have stayed for all the people who voted for him or rather his partner.
Did he want to quit?
Or did someone make him an offer he couldn't refuse?
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Living a lie I reckon.  He knew he was shite.  How could he not.  It was nice to be the public favourite but at the expense of others?  He doesn't seem the selfish type.  He has now left at a time when he was king so he has won of sorts anyway.

IMHO.

I think he's made the right decision but sad that it has come to this.  I hope that next year the producers amend the voting rules to prevent anyone else being put in the same situation again.

Pop quiz, hotshots.  Which is the most important news story:

a. Pirates of the Caribbean Horn of Africa (Yarrr!)
b. Continuing humanitarian crisis in Democratic Republic of Congo
c. Global financial crisis bad enough that even the Japa-bloody-knees have noticed
d. Tubby bloke who dances like concrete toad resigns from so-called "reality" TV show
e. Werewolf discovered in Southend1

I would go for d. (or possibly e. if I lived there) as it allows everyone some escape from all the other shite that is going on around them, not to mention the impending end of the world due to credit crunch/terrorists/climate change/bird flu/etc/etc (select currently en vogue disaster).

Not that I agree with this cult of celebratory, or the amount of reality TV promotion that happens in the news, but I can see why it happens.

I don't get why the BBC feel they need to refund people who voted for JS.  He took himself off the show, or was it really because those nasty BBC appointed judges were being unkind and forced him into it?   ;)

So, Tom and Camilla won on the public vote.

Not my choice at all but his show dance, although not technically perfect, was an absolute delight and stole the show.

Mrs H is still inconsolable though.

Tom and Camilla's show dance was fab - it just made me smile a lot and ultimately pick up the telephone to vote. I never Liked Rachel, as someone else has pointed out they could have started a drinking game every time she said the word 'amazing'....
