I'm hoping to reduce my research
Does anyone have any camp sites they can recommend in the Northumberland area? I was thinking of a late camping break to visit the sites, ranging from Lindisfarne to possibly as far up as Edinburgh.

Beadnell Bay
.
I've been going there for nearly 40 years. It hasn't much changed- though I expect they've painted once or twice.

There's a site in Wooler. Not stayed but met someone earlier this year who thought it OK on her own. Also, town Yetholm on the border is nice and the pub, on the left as you walk through the village, is great.

Oh, and forgot 'the barn at beal', great camping just on the mainland by the crossing to Lindisfarne. Good camp breakfast deals for.cyclists and you can, tide permitting, then walk across the sand to Lindisfarne and scuttle back for supper.
