DSE (Dobutamine Stress Echo)

anyone had one of these tests?
details appreciated if you have

been having a few breathing problems so the circuit of the NHS departments started

only lasted a couple of minutes on the treadmill before they stopped it as struggling to breath/walk
said not enough data gathered on heart so I would be going for a DSE test, this coming Monday

seems they stick a drip in your arm and pump stuff in to speed up the HR to that of exercise rate(s) and give you a sound scan during the higher levels
not very pleasant by all accounts

over and done with
no worse than climbing Sutton Bank or Rosedale Chimney heart rate wise
BUT, took the technician, attending doctor and the BOSS being called in to get the views they wanted
BOSS lady ended doing it herself with lots of muttering with doc about pictures, "but we have had worse than that"
recovery pretty quick after the go faster juice pump was stopped and out of hospital in under 45 minutes
did feel pretty rough on getting home
it lasted until an early bed at 11
might or might not have been test related
results to GP in a couple of weeks
Only bad bit was they pushed the scanner VERY HARD against my ribs, like having a broom handle moved over the ribs
