Yes, it also means you can't make any more Blue Peter stuff even if Butterfly is standing by with the safety scissors and Prit stick!

You'll get all of the old Blue Peter presenters suing the BBC for exposure to excessive radiation now.  ::-)

There was probably rather more radiation from the old CRT TVs after all..

And a bit of radiation does not equal cancer, after all. It means an increased risk of cancer.

Wow!
It is simpler than it looks.

We got through about half a reel of sellotape observing the triboluminescence in a photographic dark room I worked in - I'm suprised we didn't fog all the films.  ::-)

You used to be able to lick Sellotape® and separate the gooey bit from the cellophane bit.

After a while you could collect a Postman's Rubber Band Ball(1) of gooey. Which was nice.

1) Postmen collect rubber bands. Well, you would, wouldn't you?

Postmen do not collect rubber bands - they leave them scattered everywhere over the pavements >:(

In the label printing business we nowadays tend to over-laminate jobs with what is known as 'self-wound' laminate. That means it has no backing; in fact it's like a giant reel of sellotape: 2000m long by up to 300mm wide. We can, on occasion, get through several reels of this in a day.
