Garmin uploads - my track names don't show

I'm new to Garmin and have just bought a Dakota 20 for bike and other outdoor use. When I save a track on the device with a name, it saves correctly on the device, but when I upload to Garmnin Connect, it is listed as 'untitled' with just the date, whichi isn't particularly helpful if I only upload once a fortnight or so and therefore have half a dozen tracks all with the same name. I cannot seem to see anything on theGarmin Connect settings or on the device settings to change this. Any ideas how to preserve my track names when I upload?

Go into each activity in turn. There's a pencil icon on the top left.  Click and select Quick Edit.  Set a name and say Done.

Not that I know of.
I've never named a track on the device, so I can't rightly say.

They just have a date-time stamp for a name on the device, and that's how I upload them.

You can quick-edit just after you upload them, before going any further.
