Title: Feline Hazards...
Post by: quixoticgeek on 20 May, 2018, 11:12:43 am

I thought some of my rides had interesting wildlife interactions, but "being eaten by a couger" is a whole new level of things to add to the cycling risk assessment... I wonder if the lion ate the helmet...

I saw a quote somewhere that they "did everything right"

Apart from getting eaten of course.  Makes my almost running over a swift yesterday seem quite trivial (apart from for the swift of course)

There's a pic of a Balkans Lynx in the Telegraph today.
That looks like a lot of cat and it is nowhere near a cougar's size.

5 big cats and a bear escaped, now recaptured.
