Title: Lincoln Grand Prix sportive 2019
Post by: djrikki on 12 May, 2019, 07:31:18 am
I've just uploaded a video of my day competing in the Lincoln Grand Prix sportive 2019 along with over a 1,000 other riders.  As always I choose the longest route which in this case is over a 100 miles long.  Beautiful countryside, great weather, a few tricky climbs including #28 Michaelgate awaiting anyone giving this sportive a go!

Weather kept dry throughtout, a few random spits and spots, mostly from standing water left from the night before.

Being my third year I still highly recommend this one; there was a route change in the Northern arm of the route, no avoiding the 20%er at Nettleton Hill which for some I guess is no bad thing.  In it's place there is numerous rolling climbs including a steady one towards Ludford where the route which it's highest point.
