Hello, is there a route sheet available for this event. In 2015 some one did a route sheet which I used and it was fantastic? Anyone know?

It's in the participant zip file

I'd prefer one based on reality.

Coming soon (https://www.camaudax.uk/pbp/) — just checking it first

In 2015 it was based on StreetView. Same again. It won't be tested until sometime in August, tho
Last time it wasn't out by much — and where it was out, ACP's own GPX was also out, as the local orgs had moved the route without telling Paris ::-) That's just one of those things that can only be confirmed after the fact, and inevitably, follow the arrows is very much the order of the day. But still, it's nice to know whether it's 500m or 20km to the next town.

You don't need a route sheet or a GPS

Unless you are full value and 84 hours - Then quite a lot of signs may be missing on the way back.

That used to be a real problem in the last 30km, which was more urban. Directions were painted on the road in marking paint.

I agree! as a full value 84 hour rider last time (83:40) there was bugger all left. Not a lot left on the food front at the finish either. Fortunately using GPS.
