I went to visit my parents last weekend and my dad's friend Glen had a bike that he wanted to sell due to ill health. My dad asked if we would like to look at it and so we did. It's a carrera e-assist that was £2000 new and had only done 30 miles. It is slightly big for me but rideable and lots of fun, and clarion can also ride it, which means it is just what we need at the moment. It feels safer in the wet, especially downhill, than the tandem without a stoker which has a tendency to slide out at the back.
