Title: Delayed accident treatment - what's best if you didn't go to get checked out on
Post by: TPMB12 on 26 April, 2022, 08:42:12 am
I had a minor crush injury, imho,  on Friday. People kept telling me I should have gone to get it checked out. In my mind I've followed NHS website guidance as it's unnecessary from what they say online.

Assuming that I'm wrong and I should get checked out. What's the UK based system to do that several days after the injury? GP or 111 for advice and possible referral of needed? Just curious.

This is just my own view, and for all I know might well be contradicted by 111, but I'd suggest a local urgent care centre:

A&E or Minor Injuries Unit.
But be prepared to wait.
