Hi This is the Torcross end.
I have spent many happy hours in the pub there.
Hard to believe that waves break up on these houses .

That is incredible! It looks like something straight out of Tolkein.

Lee, do you have Photoshop or another graphics program? You could remove some of the fogging, like so:
No don't. The fog is working for you as a mood enhancer. Sorry RR...

The HDR does add an element of unreality.. Worth standing in a field on a hill for about 90 mins freezing my sodden toes and fingers though.

There was a good inch of snow when I got up this morning! This is the south coast of France. How far south does one have to go!?!

Today, Mid-hampshire.
I don't remember the views on my local training loop ever being so beautiful.
The roads were perfectly dry but everything was covered in a very thick frost, almost as thick as snow

Brazil was warm and sunny. No snow, I have to report. Very pleasant.

But it wasn't winter there though was it?

The quoted statement doesn't say so either. ;)
Your statement is however correct! The weather is Brazil can still be pretty good in winter as you will know. Going to the beach then for example is more than possible in fact, at least for us Northerners.
