The plants should be alive, & growing in any substrate/liquid to count. ;)

Any particular reason for asking?
I have 3, a geranium that an old neighbour gave me, a bombproof Christmas cactus that flowers at random intervals and a money plant that was an unwanted gift.
Once upon a time I had a couple of streptocarpus from my mum's collection but I can't remember what happened to them.
I could probably fit a few more on the living room window but I don't seem to have the same love for houseplants as those outdoors, probably because they're not covered in pollinators.

Interested mainly, as I think we have too many. :) I recently spend some time rationalising the plants, & opted not to overwinter any chilli plants indoors this year. Three citrus plant pots are also now attempting to last the winter in a small poly tunnel, with pots & plants bubble wrapped. One room has 9 cacti pots - one large & eight small. Miniao's Monstera & Dragon tree plant keep getting bigger. Also been thinking about pot plants & condensation... tho epiphytes are apparently quite good at extracting moisture from air.

Please feel free to also express the data as plants/room ratio... :)

Our windows are relatively small and mostly in the shadow of our lower auvent. In any case they open inwards so pot-plants are a PITA for ventilating the place. MrsT, however, has a few shade-friendly plants such as gawky orchids and the like that haven't been knocked flying yet.

I have two.
A money plant and a rosary ivy, both of which I bought in 1994.
The money plant features centre stage in this picture

Does Pam's Mad Plant and the three small plants that we are trying to propagate from it count as one plant or three? ;) (Pam's Mad Plant is getting a bit too big, so we plan to add it to the compost heap and grow on one or two of its children. We do the same with Money plants.)

We have about 3 but No1Daughter has brought a bloody forest with her. Currently about 30. There's at least a dozen cacti.

I have four very happy carnivorous plants, two avocadoes I grew from stones last year, an aspidistra called UNCLE ( ;D ) and four air plants I rescued from work and which have quadrupled in size. I didn't know they grew that big, to be honest, but apparently I'm good with air plants.

Despite my wife being an avid plantswoman, she doesn't really do indoor plants. We've had the odd avocado or citrus grown from seed, but nothing at the moment.

We're definitely a top end outlier atm. :) An orchid had recently developed 3 keiki, one of which I've transplanted. I used to pot on aloe vera, but now just prune the pot growth back.

0. We had lots of house flora until the arrival of the house fauna. (https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=112462.0)
