Title: Oh dear, how patronising can you be?
Post by: tiermat on 15 April, 2008, 04:18:26 pm
From Linux.com I followed a link to a site which is producing a graphic (read comic style) linux guide for newbies...

I had a quick scan and it seems so patronising, it's painful.....

Link here, if you care to look: Hackett and Blackwell (http://www.hackettandbankwell.com/media/Hackett-And-Bankwell-First-Issue-Preview.pdf)

think I'll stick to www.toddandpenguin.com

It's a pdf file, so why do I have to enable javascript to see it?

Patronising cartoons work for me.

Look, Fisher-Price is the correct level for the average user.  Grumble all you like, but that's the truth (I see it every day here at work) and Bill Was Right.
