Title: IQ Fly shimano powered generator light: marvellous
Post by: vorsprung on 11 November, 2009, 10:09:30 am
Since the clocks went back I have been riding home in the dark using either an old Dinotte 5W or a Cateye HL-El320 or both.  I got my system with two sets of AAs going for the Dinotte

Both of these are perfectly ok lights.  For example the other day I had the Dinotte angled a bit high and a car flashed me presumably due to it's blinding laser properties

But the IQ Fly is in another league.  I can really see the potholes and road mess before I get to it.
I feel much safer and comfortable with this proper light.  And there is no problem with fading lights due to failing batteries

I replaced my Dinotte (for commuting anyway) with an IQ Cyo and a Shimano hub. So nice not to have to remember to charge batteries.
