Title: Sending Tandem by FedEx
Post by: Thing2 on 25 September, 2010, 09:32:19 am
Hi all,

Has anyone here any experience of sending an uncoupled tandem by Fed Ex?
We're planning a big trip, and are wondering if shipping the tandem to a Fed Ex office is going to be easier than trying to travel with it on multiple flights.

Alternatively, we might be keeping an eye out for a small S&S coupled Thorn Adventure frame.  :o

I don't see why you can't. Our uncoupled tandem was delivered to us by JD Cycles using DHL (or a similar firm). The fact that the deliver was within the UK is probably irrelevant.
