Title: SKS Chromo Plastic Mudguards fitting
Post by: Mad Jack on 09 March, 2011, 08:04:20 pm
Hi, I'm just fitting a pair of SKS Plastic Mudguards onto my Audax steed.

Just noticed that the end caps ( black plastic ) X2 are missing.

Does it matter if I leave them off, or rob the ones on the rear guard and place them on the front.

The old ESGE guards did not have this set up, do they matter.

Thanks

MJ

Doesn't really matter its just to stop you scratching yourself on sharp stays, I always used to file mine down anyway so they were smooth.
I have seen others use short legths of vaccumn pipe and a drop from a glue gun in the end.  :)
