Lovely little rant (http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=144913&command=displayContent&sourceNode=231196&home=yes&more_nodeId1=221340&contentPK=20935661), brought to you courtesy of the Bristol Evening post.

Yup. I reckon he's a closet cyclist — in denial.
-
He's not getting a lot of support in the reader's comments.
-
That has to be a spoof.
-
;D Love the comments...

Oh, how original. Another dull-witted attempt to stir up controversy. Be nice if it didn't read like it was written by a twelve year old (really, you don't need to use every adjective in your vocabulary). Be nicer still, if they could have managed to be vaguely amusing with what they wrote. Otherwise they risk being mistaken for the Special Brew-fuelled drunk slinging abuse at anyone who passes through his stumble radius.

I was going to say it sounded like ti was written by Clarkson, but that amounts to much the same thing as a twelve-year old.
In fact, no. My twelve year old is intelligent and pretty articulate.
-
He's getting quite a kicking :D
-
In the meantime - and from a pedestrian's point of view - let me remind you there's nothing attractive (especially after a full English breakfast) about seeing an elephantine derriere zooming past you at 8.30 on a Monday morning.
I wouldn't mind - but I've never been to Bristol.

Odd paragraph that - think it says a lot about the writer, linking eating a full english with a fat backside, sounds like he's got something to be sensitive about!
Best comment seen elsewhere "Ok, own up, which of you [cyclists] has been seeing Mrs Caddick?". :D
-
Hm he's trying to be amusing.
-
I was sorely tempted to reply on the following lines:
"Mister Jamie Caddick Please call me urgently. I have a job on offer for you, I would like you to work in my Press Office: you seem ideally suited for the job. Signed R. Mugabe, Harare."
-
It seems like a really lazy way to drum up controversy.
Some of those comments are classics, though ;D
