Probably been covered before, but how do I post photo's on here?

You don't, you link to a photo that's posted elsewhere, somewhere like flickr. You find the address of the picture you want to post and put it between the brackets that appear when you select the icon beneath the italic one, second on the bottom row. How you post to a photo hosting site is another question.

Photobucket is quite easy to use.
