Title: Alp D'Huez on ITV4
Post by: Basil on 17 July, 2008, 12:32:35 am
It seems that those of us that are restricted to ITV4's coverage are being treated to full coverage of the Alp D'Huez stage on Wednesday.
I need to plan ahead.  When does the stage start?  Do I need to book the whole day off or can I get away with a bit of flexi leave in the afternoon?

ITV4 are schedulinh a full 5 hours of live transmission - I believe Galibier and Croix de Fer before Alpe d'Huez.     You need the whole afternoon.  Well, I'm taking the whole day. I shall ride in the morning and watch in afternoon.

Ride Around Col de la Croix de Fer and Col du Galibier (http://www.gsoto.easynet.co.uk/fr_ride2a.htm)

Coverage starts at midday on ITV4, guess there will be a bit of pre-amble, but may have to plan my 1/2 day next week around that (or set the SKY+)
