Working on this on and off for a few years now, sprayed with hammerite last summer, did the lug lining at the weekend and transfers last night.
Now for the lacquer and build ;)

Very nice.

Very nice job!
How did you manage to do the chroming? Did you do it yourself?
-
Stunning.
-
When I stripped the paint off the chrome was there - not great quality but I thought it looked good enough to leave showing

Lovely job Winders. You must be very proud.
-
Excellent!

I doubt it's chrome, looks more like nickel to me. I believe that a lot of steel bikes are nickel-plated under the paint. Either way, it stops unsightly paint chips where it's most likely to happen.
Fantastic job btw, I was going to ask if it was Argos or Bob Jackson's who did it, and then you mentioned Hammerite!

Very nice indeed.

Spray can or brush Windy ?
Sprayed, he said.

Rhys W - Could be nickel, it's not got the same shine as chrome
pcolbeck - Spray. I used 2 cans and built up the layers very slowly.
