How tall is "quite" tall?  And by normal or Dutch standards ;D

I'm sure somewhere on the Intertubes there must be a photo of Thomas van Schaik and Teagan Patterson side by side.

One of my Sinister Agents tells me that The Scousers approached Graeme Obree with a view to having him drive, as he's got previous at Battle Mountain, but that he poltely declined.

At least they actually had a couple of chaps go to the event last year to see what it was all about, unlike certain big-money teams using former Olympians as riders :demon:

IIRC Graeme is building a new machine which his son is going to ride. No idea if that's still the plan though...

I'm hoping that's a test rig rather than anything anyone is planning to ride...

Misleading photo. One chain round monster ring to very small cog, top of other visible heading to rear, return of that chain just visible below seat.

The Scousers rocked up at yesterday's BHPC race meeting at Hillingdon with their other male rider, a chap called Ken, who was racing a naked M5 high racer.  He kept up with Mr Multiple Chapion Burrows (M) and his super-stealth Ratracer pretty well, in spite of a misaligned rear wheel which wobbled a bit and applied the rear brake in corners, in the first race, and did him good and proper in race 2.  Admittedly he's only about a third of Mike's age but:

My Sinister Agents tell me the bike is already on its way to NV.  As, indeed, am I.
