Thank heavens for that. We can get back to believing that our British track stars are clean.  :D Can't wait for the Olympics.

Good one, reassuring that he's put himself forward for further screening as well.

Cleared? But he wasn't guilty was he? (David Martin where are you).

You stop taking the stuff and your haemo soon goes down again. That is if you were taking any stuff, I'm not saying he was.

I think the track stars are for the most part and ASFAIK clean, track cycling is science and not pharmacology is it not, and we Brits are good at science aren't we?

Indeed - nobody has suggested he was guilty of anything.

It takes more than a few days if you are on EPO. Fluctuations in Haemocrit can be as much as 5 percentage points in a day (and I refuse to believe they can measure accurately to 0.1% anyway).

Cleared?  He was removed from competition, as they say, 'for the rider's safety', and handed his licence back after the fourteen day exclusion was completed.

Cleared to race again. He is currently working with BC to prepare a case for a different haematocrit or exemption level based on biological passport type testing.
